The 1000hearthaikus Project – by Jen Thorpe

I LOVE this! The 1000hearthaikus Project isΒ  instagram-based project by fellow Rhodent and feminist writer Jen Thorpe who aims to write 1000 Haikus by the end of 2015.

For those who don’t know, Haiku is a form of traditional Japanese poetry – each poem is a 17-syllable verse consisting of three metrical units of 5, 7, and 5 syllables.

Jen writes daily and posts pictures of her Haiku for all to see – I’ve been following for a while and love to see what pops up next in my feed – a few snapshots below – be sure to follow the project for more absolute gems!

Thank you for sharing your beautiful words Jen :)
