My mom kindly offered to look after Baby Bird so that hubby and I could visit the East Coast Radio House & Garden Show in Durbs on Thursday using the tickets I won from Washi Bug last week. We had an awesome morning at the show, checking out what was on offer from big brands and small businesses alike… My fave part was without a doubt the Home Grown Design zone/fair, showcasing local design talent and growing creative businesses – right up my alley!
Here are some snapshots from our outing…
The Showgrounds – Durban Exhibition Centre
Gorgeous plants and lovely Homewood wooden products on show in the Garden Zone
Loved this indigenous flower/plant exhibit
ECR’s very own recipe book – East Coast Tables: The Inland Edition
(bought one for my dad, keep an eye out for a blog post on it soon!)
The awesome Design on the Move caravans in association with Mr Price Home
A taster of things to come (Home Grown Design zone) at the general entrance to the show
Awesome chair covered in Gustav Klimt’s The Kiss fabric…
Awesome lazer-cut wooden products from What’s Cutting
The most comfortable chairs at the show! Super clever way to reuse old tires!
WashiBug stand – AMAZING washi tape products (will be doing a separate post on this because I have too many pics and more info to share about it!)
Bought this delicious chilli salt from Imbali Blends – mainly because the stand was being run by the cutest two children and I was so impressed with how they handled themselves, especially the little boy who was terribly well-informed!
Craft beer brewers – Standeaven Brewery
THE SHOW IS ON UNTIL SUNDAY 7 JULY SO IF YOU’RE IN THE AREA, POP BY AND CHECK IT OUT!
