My Last Saturday In The Autumn Sun

My last Saturday in London. A walk down Memory (Garratt) Lane in Earlsfield…

The ex-council flats that Murr used to live in when we first started going out (dire!)

The flat above the cab company that I used to live in when we first met (also dire!)

Outside aforementioned flat – affectionately known as the Green Ghetto ( green carpets, green bathroom fixtures, green kitchen floor!) The first home us Love Birds lived in together (where we got engaged!) along with some of my Rhodes friends…

La Pernella, also known as “The Breakfast Shop” – right next door to Capitals. Many a hungover morning spent there…

Lunch at The Halfway House

My uncharacteristic lunch choice – a pulled pork bap with apple chutney + fries – YUM (highly recommend!)

Murray’s incredible steak and caramelised onion sarmie (looked better IRL and apparently tasted amazing!)

Mr Bird tucking in…

Baby Bird tucking in…

A great mini outing for the Bird family x

Love this! You’ve been a London institution for so long, wish we’d done more together. I love the comment about Murray’s sarnie being ‘apparently’ amazing. Loves stretches far, but not as far as a man’s love of red meat!
