Bishopstrow House, Warminster

Mr Bird and I recently celebrated our 2 year wedding anniversary (yay!) with a weekend away in the Dorset/Wiltshire/Bath area. We stayed at the traditional and romantic Bishopstrow House in Warminster – a luxury hotel and spa with different packages to accommodate all types visitors. The service, room and food during our stay was amazing – I was especially (and randomly!) enamoured with the homemade muesli served at breakfast – the chef gave me the recipe and I’ve since tried making some for myself… (Read here for more on that adventure!)

Unfortunately we didnt get to try out the wet spa because we both left out cozzies at home but by all accounts it’s a winner. Bishopstrow is also close to Longleat Safari & Adventure Park and about a half hour drive away from the beautiful city of Bath – if driving from London, you will pass the historic Stonehenge too!

Altogether it was a fabulous weekend away – I would highly recommend staying here (if you have a few bucks to spare, of course), and it’s a wonderful treat especially for a special occasion like ours was <3

Enjoy some tea or a stronger drink in one of these traditionally decorated lounges…

Borrow some Dubarry boots for stomping around the gorgeous grounds…

…or have a drink outside on the terrace…
