I’m Andrea – a ‘new mom’ in my late twenties – thanks for stopping by! My blog is about my adventures in life and all the interesting and inspiring things I find along the way.
I studied Journalism at Rhodes University in Grahamstown, and thereafter moved to the UK to begin my career as Graphic Designer (journ schmourn!)
In London I met my amazing husband (aka Mr Bird), and earlier this year (2012), our beautiful baby girl, Addison, was born (commonly referred to as Baby Bird). After a long time of ‘um-ing and ah-ing’ about where we’d like to settle, we decided that home was where our hearts were, and we recently made the big move back to the Motherland! I can’t wait to re-discover SA and share all my findings – watch this space!
I love to bake, blog and craft. I enjoy discovering new places, food, products and ideas and you’ll often catch me snapping away on my iPhone camera or with my awesome Nikon DSLR (can’t live without either) I’m definitely a Mac!
